    Thanks for the post. I'm hoping Ubuntu 9.04 will also work with these instructions!

    I haven't done with a fresh Oracle 11g installation on Ubuntu 9.04. However, upgrading from Ubuntu 8.10 (with Oracle 11g) to Ubuntu 9.04 has no issues.
